"BLP
is committed to service innovation and client satisfaction. We wanted to update
our existing systems with a solution that meets our needs, both now and in the
future, that is designed to work the way our fee-earners do and takes document
management to a new level of efficiencies and capabilities. A core strategic
objective at the firm is to take full advantage of the Web to enable seamless
communication, not only internally between our fee-earners, but also with our
clients through our client extranet service '*Rapport'. Interwoven demonstrated
it had the best solution on the market, the long list of high-profile firms
on both sides of the Atlantic that have recently installed WorkSite 8 technology
underlines this fact,"
- Janet Day, IT Director, BLP
"One
of the main benefits of Interwoven's WorkSite 8 is the ability to access and
work on critical matter files from any computer with a connection to the Internet.
Furthermore, Interwoven's e-mail management capabilities will have a huge impact
on the way the firm operates, resulting in a way that will prove invaluable
to our lawyers, who spend several hours a day dealing with e-mail,"
- Daniel Pollick, Global CIO, DLA Piper
"...As
part of a global system roll-out we upgraded from DOCS Open to Hummingbird DM5,
integrated with Office XP. We persevered with the roll-out of DM5 to both our
London and Paris offices, despite experiencing significant problems with the
integration of Hummingbird DM5 with Citrix and the other systems we deploy.
Hummingbird provided significant input from both the UK and US in an attempt
to solve these problems, and supplied several revisions to DM5. Despite this,
we were unable to achieve a sufficiently stable system after nine months of
effort. ... Rather than seeing this move purely as a transition from one DMS
to another, we have taken the opportunity to leverage additional features that
WorkSite 8 provides by implementing the Matter Centric model, and have already
highlighted several areas where we will gain significant additional benefit
from this implementation."
