Centrally located downtown, adjacent to the Financial District, the Palace Hotel is walking distance to Union Square, the Cable Cars, the Embarcadero, Chinatown, the Moscone Convention Center, AT&T Park, Sony Metreon, Yerba Buena Park, SF Museum of Modern Art, and the Theatre District.

Hotel Information
The conference room rate is $259.00 per night. Register for GearUp 2007 here and in step 2 of the registration process, you will be taken to the Interwoven GearUp ’07 online hotel reservation system.

Airline Arrangements
All airline travel arrangements to San Francisco, CA are the responsibility of each individual.

Ground Transportation Information

All ground transportation between San Francisco International (SFO) Airport and Oakland International Airport (OAK) or other local area airports and the hotel is the responsibility of each individual. There are taxis and shuttle services available right outside the baggage claim area of the airports. The subway, known as BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit), stops at Montgomery Station located in front of the hotel.

Using BART from SFO to The Palace Hotel :
*Follow BART signs from baggage claim area of airport
*Exit Montgomery Street station and come up escalator on left side. The hotel will be directly in front of you on the corner of New Montgomery and Market.

Taxi Info:
Taxis are readily available with no reservation required. The cost from SFO to downtown San Francisco is approximately $40 per taxi. The cost from OAK to downtown San Francisco is approximately $60 per taxi.

Airport Shuttle:
SuperShuttle serves both San Francisco and Oakland airports.
To make a reservation please call (415) 558-8500. The cost from SFO to downtown San Francisco is approximately $15 per person. The cost from OAK to downtown San Francisco is approximately $25 per person.

Driving Directions from Area Airports

The hotel is conveniently located only:
20 minutes north of San Francisco International Airport
30 minutes west Oakland International Airport

San Francisco- SFO (14mi) Take the US-101 North ramp towards San Francisco. Merge on US-101 North. Take the I-280 exit towards Daly City/Port of SF. Continue on I-280 North Ramp towards Port of SF. Merge on I-280 North. Take the King St exit. Continue on King St. Turn Left on 3rd St. Turn Right on Market St. Turn Right on New Montgomery. The hotel is on the right.

Oakland - OAK (20mi) From East Interstate 80, Bay Bridge & Oakland International Airport- Take I-80 West over the Bay Bridge (must pay toll)- Exit Fremont St., first exit on the right side- Left on Howard St., first intersection on Fremont St.- Right on Third St.- Right on Market St.- Right on New Montgomery St.- The Palace is on the right side at #2 New Montgomery St.

Conference Attire
Conference attire at GearUp 2007 is business casual.

Climate
In April San Francisco temperatures average a high of 64 degrees Fahrenheit, dropping to an average low of 48. All conference venues are temperature controlled. The air conditioning in the conference rooms can be quite cool, so plan to bring a light jacket or sweater to keep you warm.
